  Why elders' wives are such gossipers...

  i have a theory as to why elders' wives gossip so much.

  i believe a big part of it has to do with the conversation running dry (between themselves and their elder husbands) after so many years of marriage.

  since they don't get to spend too much "quality time" together (because of the elder husband's hamster wheel schedule), when they do have some intimate time alone, the elder's wives will invaribly attempt to engage their husbands in any kind of interchange.

  I have a theory as to why elders' wives gossip so much. Since they don't get to spend too much "quality time" together (because of the elder husband's hamster wheel schedule), when they do have some intimate time alone, the elder's wives will invaribly attempt to engage their husbands in any kind of interchange. However, since the only remaining conversation topics of any interest (after so many years of marriage) are usually the congregation scandals, that's what they inevitably end up talking about. Afterwards, when the elders' wives find themselves alone for too long, they start calling each other up to entertain themselves and enjoy a scandalous interchange of stories in an attempt to liven up their otherwise boring lives.

  But I could be wrong.

  everyone knows that people sign up to have the co over for lunch wed. through fri. but in your area, did they (even privately, outside of a sign up sheet) also invite him over sometimes for dinner as well, at all?

  is this something that varies by co?.

  We had a CO that would drop hints during Field Circus like: "It's been a really busy week so far. I wonder if I am I ever going to have an opportunity to get my car detailed this week." Of course, he would say that out loud in front of an elder knowing all too well that this elder would immediately volunteer to take the CO's car to the detailer right after Field Circus.

  did anyone notice that large portions of the july 15, 2011 mentally diseased article is being read word-for-word in the 2013 disctrict convention symposium talk beware of human apostates?.

  if you havent already see this thread which contains an actual recording.... the moron in the recording is actually reading directly from the watchtower article... word-for-word... yet another perfect example of information control found in most destructive cults... .

  by the way, did anyone also catch what he said about those who woke up after the 1975 fiasco.

  By the way, did anyone also catch what he said about those who woke up after the 1975 fiasco. Instead of saying: "Some brothers stumbled after selling their homes to pioneer and ending up flat broke", they're saying: "Some brothers thought it was beneath their dignity to go door-to-door."

  These bastards have some f++king balls twisting the facts to suit their agenda...

  In the JW DVD "Faith In Action" (2010) this is illustrated various times throughout the video.

  For example, it presents several famous freemasons such as John Coustos (a Portuguese Grand Master from Lisbon circa 1740). The DVD actually shows 2 illustrations of Coustos being tortured by Catholic Priests while the JW "narrator" denounces historic abuse from the clergy.

  my grandmother asked me to read to her so i asked her what she wanted me to read.

  was the watchtower, but she specfically asked for the one with "the timeline.

  it for a few days and apparently hasn't read up.

  Diana... here's the gist of it...

  In the early 80's, Raymond Franz exposed many lies printed in WT literature. Many One of the major lies was that all of the annointed worldwide were somehow communicating progressive Nu-Lite to the Governing Body. The Governing Body would then process this Nu-Lite and have it printed. Raymond discovered this to be completely false after he became a member of the Governing Body. He quickly learned that the GB did NOT even care to know who was of the annointed unless it was a brother who happened to be a CO or DO. But even if they did know and acknowledge some of the annointed, they would accept any input from them either.

  So as part of "damage control" they are sinking this teaching in murky waters using an ambiguous play of words that most witnesses will not understand or even care to understand...

  lurkers.... check your calendars... october 2, 2014 is only 500 days away.... look for illogical nu-lite from the wt in publications and conventions that will attempt to explain this away.. they've already bought themselves some time by splitting a "generation" into 2 overlapping generations... still, they have a lot of explaining to do... this should get really interesting... stay tuned.... .

  this is evident by the thousands of uploaded videos of assemblies, conventions, caleb videos, kh weddings, kingdom melodies, etc.

  that can be found on youtube and other similar sites.

  It's clear that dubs in general eventually forget to heed the counsel of the WT as regards viewing spiritually "dangerous" material on the internet. This is evident by the thousands of uploaded videos of assemblies, conventions, caleb videos, kh weddings, kingdom melodies, etc. that can be found on YouTube and other similar sites. Some dubs remember to disable the comments section or set it up such that comments are held for review prior to posting. But, incredibly, I find that most dubs leave their videos wide open for any comment, good or bad.

  This presents excellent opportunities to expose the lies, manipulation and corruption of the Watchtower Corporation. I have been posting my comments on dub YouTube videos for several months now and i can tell you that I have had at least a 10 to 15% success rate in waking people up (or at least planting a seed)... If you are the type of person who is generally patient and can take an insult now and then, I challenge you to go on YouTube today and find a video uploaded by a dub. You'd be surprized how easily some dubs engage in frank conversation about the GB and the WT...
